Wormwood's Academy is a wicked witches' school. Their strictest teacher is Miss Splinter.

Alma Cackle sent her daughter Agatha Cackle to Wormwood's Academy after she tried stealing her mother's powers for herself which resulted in an explosion. Agatha was labeled the "bad girl" at Wormwood's.
Another girl attended Wormwoods at the same time as Agatha did, Wilhelmina Grimoir and they appear to have been close friends as Amelia Cackle, Agatha’s twin sister, recalls knowing Wilhelmina as a child.
Many decades after this Miss Splinter became the schools Matron and stopped the students being taught and used them to work hard labour and made the conditions very poor. At some point, Camilla Clove began attending the school after losing her temper and transforming her sister into a cactus.
Mildred Hubble had been sent to Wormwood's after accidentally turning Miss Cackle into broken stone pieces, which is not Mildred’s fault, as Ethel Hallow told Felicity Foxglove to meddle with Mildred’s spell. Maud Spellbody rebelled and was also sent to Wormwood’s. After being informed of the horrible conditions about the school by Mildred and Maud, Miss Cackle informed the Grand Wizard and he decided to closed the school down and it's students were sent back to their original schools.
