Mirabelle Hubble is Mildred Hubble's last magical ancestor. She told Mildred that the Hubbles are a witching family, and that they come from a long line of great and powerful witches. Mirabelle re-ignited the Founding Stone, but to do so she had to give up not only her own magic, but that of her descendants for twelve generations- Mildred is the thirteenth generation, making her the first magical Hubble for centuries.
The Following year, Mirabelle once again helps Mildred by telling her about a magical lichen that will save her Mum, Julie. Miss Hardbroom doesn’t believe that it’s possible to talk to an ancestor on the family tree until the 600 year old Mirabelle calls her a ‘Young Lady’.
