Ivy is a student at Cackle's Academy for Witches.

Second year[]
Ivy is upset that she is unnoticed by other students and teachers - nobody remembers her name and mistake her as a new student. Ivy informs Mildred, Maud and Enid of ancient runes when they ask for information on them, as a game is sweeping Cackle's and appearing to steal magic from whoever plays it. The runes were linked to the game, and give Mildred, Maud and Enid the clues they need to discover that the game is dangerous. Mildred and Maud eventually link the culprit to Ivy, who was feeling left out and decided that she needed more magic - other witches' magic - to gain the popularity she craved. Ivy hesitantly decides to confess and deletes the game. At Sybil's birthday party, Ivy presents a new game which doesn't steal magic to the other witches', which gets her a little more noticed.
Physical appearance[]
Ivy is quite tall, with medium coloured skin, brown eyes and curly dark hair tied back.
Personality and traits[]
Ivy is extremely quiet and goes unnoticed by most witches. Because of her subdued nature, she does not have any friends. Ivy is also extremely clever and has a huge knowledge of witching history, as seen when she can tell stories about ancient runes just by looking at a drawing of them. Despite her loneliness and seriousness, Ivy has a determination to be the best, and will stop at nothing to get what she wants - even if it means taking magic from other witches. However, Ivy is able to realise when she has gone too far, and has a sense of right and wrong, albeit a weak one.
