Deadly Doubles is the seventh the episode of the first season of The New Worst Witch. It was preceded by Truth or Lies, and followed by The Levitating Boomerang Broomstick.
Plot[]
Hettie and Belladonna agree to put their differences aside when they are forced to team up in the Cackle's Tournament Day. (To celebrate the school's birthday) After an argument between Hettie and Belladonna, Miss Cackle puts the two in a team.
Dyllis and Cressie team up too and Cressie learns that she has a competitive spirit after all. Miss Swoop impresses Miss Hardbroom and Miss Cackle when her tournament proves not to be such a disaster after all. Hettie and Belladonna win the cup but immediately revert to their former hostilities when the tournament is over. The end of term competition leads Belladonna to poison Miss Hardbroom.
