Dawn makes only a brief appearance at the end of the first book when when she and Gloria go into Mildred's room with Maud to tell Mildred the good news about the academy being saved by Mildred.

In the Telemovie she is called Dawn Undercover . She is Ethel's sidekick in the Telemovie.
1998 TV Series[]
In the TV series she is called Dawn Raven, and she seems to leave Cackle's in her second year, although Harriet Goodcharm is the student is said to have left.
